Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 15, 2026

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (“Health Privacy Policy”) is provided for individuals in Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, and for anyone else whose consumer health data is protected by a similar law. It supplements the Glypax Privacy Policy, which describes our overall privacy practices. Glypax: GLP-1 Tracker (“Glypax”, the “App”) is developed and operated by Mykhailo-Bohdan Vaskiv, an individual entrepreneur (FOP) registered in Ukraine (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Summary

Glypax is designed so that your consumer health data is stored only on your own device. The App has no accounts and no server that receives your health records. We do not collect your consumer health data from the App, we do not share it, and we do not sell it. The only ways your consumer health data can reach us are the ones you initiate — for example, if you send us a screenshot or an export file when asking for support, and we keep it only as long as needed to help you.

What Is Consumer Health Data

“Consumer Health Data” means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a consumer and that identifies the consumer's past, present or future physical or mental health status. It does not include information that is de-identified, aggregated or publicly available. What Consumer Health Data is involved depends on what you choose to record in the App and how you interact with us.

Categories of Consumer Health Data

When you use the App, you may record the following categories of Consumer Health Data:

  • Use of prescribed medication, including the name of your GLP-1 medication, dose, dosing schedule, injection site and time, and your medication supply;
  • Symptoms and side effects you log;
  • Bodily measurements, including weight and body measurements (biceps, calf, chest, hips, thigh, waist), and height;
  • Nutrition and hydration information, including protein, fiber and water intake and related goals;
  • Progress photos you choose to add;
  • Text notes you write, which may contain health-related information; and
  • Profile details used to personalize the App, such as date of birth and gender, which combined with the above may relate to your health status.

All of this data is stored only on your device. We do not receive it through the App, and we cannot access it.

Separately, if you contact us for support, we may receive Consumer Health Data that you choose to include in your message, screenshot or export file.

If you choose to subscribe to optional email updates, your email address is not Consumer Health Data, is stored separately from the App, and is never combined with your health records; we do not use your health data to decide what to email you. We do not collect precise geolocation, and we do not draw inferences about your health from the way you use the App. Our analytics do not receive medication names, doses, symptoms, measurements, nutrition values, notes or photos.

Sources of Consumer Health Data

Consumer Health Data recorded in the App comes directly from you when you enter it. Consumer Health Data we receive comes only from you, when you choose to send it to us in a support request. We do not obtain Consumer Health Data from third parties, data brokers, or health platforms. The App does not currently integrate with Apple Health, Health Connect or any similar service; if we add such an integration in the future, it will require your explicit permission and this Health Privacy Policy will be updated first.

Our Purposes for Collecting and Using Consumer Health Data

The App processes the Consumer Health Data you record on your device solely to provide the features you request: storing your records, displaying your history and trends, scheduling reminders, and calculating personal goals. This processing happens on your device.

Consumer Health Data that you send to us in a support request is used only to respond to you and resolve your issue, and, where relevant, to fix bugs you report. We do not use Consumer Health Data for marketing, advertising, profiling, or product analytics.

How We Share Consumer Health Data

We do not share, disclose, sell or otherwise make available your Consumer Health Data to third parties, affiliates, advertisers or data brokers, except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers used for support communication. If you email or message us health-related information, the service we use to communicate with you will process it: Google (Gmail) for email, or Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business) where WhatsApp support is offered. Each processes data as our processor or as an independent service under its own terms. Access to support conversations is limited to the developer and anyone authorized to provide support on our behalf.
  • Parties you authorize. If you export your data or share a screenshot with someone, that disclosure is made by you and is under your control.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose Consumer Health Data we hold if required to do so by law, such as in response to a valid subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety of you or others, in each case as permitted by applicable law.

Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) and purchase management (RevenueCat) do not receive your Consumer Health Data. They receive only the technical, usage and purchase data described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not sell Consumer Health Data, and we will not sell it without your separate, valid authorization as required by law.

Consent

Collection of the Consumer Health Data you record in the App is necessary to provide the features you have requested, because the App cannot store and display your records without that data. Where applicable law requires consent for any collection, use or sharing of Consumer Health Data that goes beyond what is necessary to provide a product or service you requested, we will ask for your clear, affirmative consent before doing so, describe what data is involved and why, and let you withdraw that consent at any time.

We do not currently collect or share any Consumer Health Data that would require such consent, and we do not sell it.

Your Consumer Health Data Rights

If you are a Washington, Nevada or Connecticut resident, or otherwise protected by a consumer health data law, you have the following rights, subject to applicable exceptions:

  • Access: to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling Consumer Health Data about you, to access that data, and to receive a list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared or sold it, together with an active email address or other online mechanism to contact them.
  • Deletion: to have Consumer Health Data about you deleted.
  • Withdraw consent: to withdraw any consent you gave to the collection or sharing of Consumer Health Data.
  • Appeal: if we decline your request, to appeal our decision.

Because your Consumer Health Data is on your device, you can exercise access, correction, export and deletion directly in the App at any time: view and edit any record, export your data, or delete individual records or your entire profile and all data from the App's settings. Uninstalling the App also removes its local data.

For Consumer Health Data that you have sent to us in a support request, or to ask any question about this Health Privacy Policy, email us at start.app.gear@gmail.com. Your request should (1) describe what you are asking for and (2) include the email address or WhatsApp number you used when you contacted us, so that we can find the relevant correspondence. We may ask a follow-up question to verify the request. A request that meets these criteria is a “Valid Request”. We will respond within 45 days of receipt, and may extend that period once by up to 45 additional days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will tell you.

To appeal a decision, reply to our response and state the reason for your appeal. We will inform you in writing of the outcome of the appeal within 45 days, including a written explanation of our reasons. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state Attorney General. Washington residents may file a complaint with the Washington Attorney General at www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Changes to This Health Privacy Policy

We may update this Health Privacy Policy when the App's features or our practices change. We will post the updated version at this address and update the Effective Date.
